"The article analyzes freight transport in the company Jindřichohradecké místní dráhy (JHMD). Analysis using data obtained from JHMD evaluates freight transport between 2016 and 2020 in terms of sales, tons of material transported and later wagons. Based on the analysis of freight transport, it comes to the fact that the year 2018 was the strongest in terms of transported tons of cargo. However, due to the change in the tariff, the year 2019 came to the fore in terms of sales, although the transported amount decreased. The analysis also found that freight transport has become more widespread in the past and is currently declining. Another fact is that passenger transport is preferred. It is concluded that the addition of new timber transport would be an advantageous means of obtaining additional sales without major costs, mainly due to route optimization - only by adding the same wagons to the existing freight train."
