The Effect of Ventilation in Residential Buildings on The Indoor Environment

  • Original language description

The paper deals with the issue of mold growth in an apartment building. It is a panel house. The ETICS contact insulation system was installed on the house and the windows were replaced. In order to find out the cause of the mold, the apartment was diagnosed. The apartment was diagnosed using thermography. Thermal bridges were detected using an infrared camera. These thermal bridges did not lead to mold growth. The cause of the mold was not the insulation of the building, but the poor use of the apartment by the tenants. The apartment was insufficiently ventilated.
