Contemporary Fatigue Damage Aspects
Original language description
The ways to treat Continuum Damage Mechanics in low cycle fatigue are following: (i) the fully coupled analysis and (ii) the post ? processing analysis. The numerical prediction routine is made up of the items as follows: a) Implement the elastic reference computation for a selected load Fref; b) Employ the Strain Energy Density Method for each level to take the plasticity into consideration; c) Calculate the damage and the number of cycles to fracture.
