This software comprises of two complementary applications: filtering catalogue and a timeline. These are based on an original system of metadata structure that connects the set of interactive multimedia activities for teaching modern history with the the module for the administration and records of activities. The catalogue allows the user to filter, assign and assess activities tailored to his/her practical needs. Filtering catalogue : Catalogue uses tile based design and it allows user to search for suitable activities based on a set of variables. These variablse include content based set (set of topics of the national curricula, historiographical concepts) as well as skill-based ones (historical thinking concepts and historical research skills) It is also possible to order the filtered activities accodring to their projected time demands and their level of complexity, which offers further comfort in tailoring the set of activities to ones own practical needs. Timeline Časová osa: Vertically designed timeline comprises of two units- world history and Czech history. Activities are organized using their time signatures to particular eras. This allows the user to interactively search and assign activities according to theirchronological connections. The user interaction is grounded in natural scrolling through the timeline and thus filtering the corresponding activities.

Technical parameters
Na serveru běží 3 NodeJS aplikace. Tyto aplikace mají definovány aplikační rozhraní pro komunikaci s uživatelským rozhraním. Uživatelské rozhraní aplikace bylo vytvořeno pomocí frameworku ReactJS. Důležitou součástí aplikace je její datová vrstva, která je generovaná ze zdrojové excelové tabulky s definovanou strukturou. Datová vrstva plní aplikaci obsahem, data ukládá do databáze MySQL. Tabulka je strojově zpracovaná do vhodného formátu (JSON) a následně importovaná do aplikace (databáze MySQL) pomocí Node.js skriptu. Tento skript je spuštěn manuálně v případě potřeby. Tzn. spuštění skriptu se neděje automaticky.
