New Trends in Monitoring Radiological Emergencies
Original language description
The paper describes the equipment and procedures for a radiation situation monitoring, it focuses in particular on a mobile laboratory (equipped with a wide range of measuring and sampling devices), on a new generation of detectors for field monitoring using remote-controlled devices (UGV, robotic rover) and airborne (UAV, drones) devices and on systems for continuous monitoring of dose rate with data transmission to a central database for local government and other entities, as well deployable stand-alone detectors given over to increase the density of the monitoring sites network in emergency planning zone of NPPs in the event of a radiological emergency. This work was supported by the project MV CR ID: VG20122015083. Presented at 10th International Conference „Nuclear and Radiation Physics".
