The goal of the international conference was to support cross-sectoral cooperation in the field of biotechnologies between the academia, companies with their own research capacities and state administration, as well as technology transfer. The conference introduced a number of promising research topics which have already been addressed by the cross-sectoral collaboration. The moderated roundtable discussion gave space for an exchange of opinions on how the research results are being successfully implemented and commercialized.
