Náklady na rok života ušetřeného realizací protiradonového ozdravného opatření dotovaného ze státních příspěvků v rámci Radonového programu ČR a všech jeho nákladů v letech 2004 - 6 jsou 80 000 Kč, což je v porovnání s náklady na rok ušetřeného života jinými zdravotnickými programy akceptovatelné.
