Development and Application of Anthropomorphic Voxel Phantom of The Head for In Vivo Measurement

  • Original language description

The in vivo measurement of the activity deposited in bones is very useful source of information on human internal contaminations with transuranium elements e.g. americium 241, especially in the long time periods after intake. The measurements are performed on the skull or big joints like knee or elbow. The paper deals with constructing of anthropomorphic numerical phantom based on CT scans, its potential for calibration and estimation of the uncertainties of the detection system, which is used on wholebody counter of National Radiation Protection Institute, Prague.

Konstrukce a užití voxelového antropomorfního fantomu hlavy pro in-vivo měření
