The article is dedicated to materials compositions of aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW (maximum take-off weight) in the Czech Republic. The aerospace industry was among the first to realize the benefits of composite materials. The research of the airplane construction materials involved analyzing of 78 airplane types registered in the Aircraft Register by the Civil Aviation Authority in the Czech Republic.
