Anotace anglicky

The purpose of the project is to obtain support for three (especially historic) material and construction projects at the newly erected ARCchip Telc Centre of Excellence (CET) equipped with unique infrastructure specially designed and manufactured with aview to obtaining fundamental knowledge and verifying the application and innovation potential of newly developed technologies in the domain of diagnostics, life cycle extension, preventive protection and conservation, including long-term sustainable use of the existing building stock. The noted infrastructure namely consists of a climatic wind tunnel of environmentally and economically optimised size for research of structural materials and technologies, equipped with the locally developed measuring and simulation tools, the unique high-resolution x-ray large-surface micro- and nano-tomography worksite and other specific database modules and tools used in monitoring climatic effects and their impact upon the behaviour and life cycles of materials andconstructions including architectural heritage, and a unique mobile system for specific assignments relating to conservation of cultural heritage under emergency situations. Main objectives of the project include mainly: - to build and run an excelent research centre producing scientific evidence supporting the preservation of cultural and natural heritage and long-term durability of historic and modern building materials and construction, - to build a unique experimental facility for improving the innovation infrastructure in the CR, available for producing outstanding research results, to build strong strategic partnerships of the international research in the ERA and JPI, - the education and training of new scientists, - to strengthen a cooperationbetween research and development sector and other members from the public or business community by means of their partnership.

Byl naplněn účel dotace, kterým bylo vybudování Regionálního centra výzkumu a vývoje, spočívající: 1. ve výstavbě budovy nezbytné k realizaci výzkumných programů, 2. v pořízení přístrojového a infrastrukturního vybavení nezbytného k realizaci výzkumných programů, 3. v personálním obsazení centra nezbytném k realizaci výzkumných programů, 4. v zahájení realizace výzkumných programů Zároveň byly naplněny hlavní cíle projektu.
