Ziel dieses Beitrags ist es, die These zu diskutieren, dass es gerade diese beispiellose Selbstbehauptung der tschechoslowakischen Demokratie war, die als Vorbild und Impulsgeber diente und die Theoriebildung zur Wehrhaftigkeit der Demokratie in der Politikwissenschaft maßgeblich beeinflussen sollte. Diese war dann wiederum für die Entwicklung nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg zentral.
