Structures for spintronics and quantum phenomena created by electron beam lithography

Project goals

The aim of the project is: a) to study the tunnel anisotropic magnetorezistance (TAMR) of nanoconstrictions formed in thin layers of diluted magnetic semiconductors of the type (GaMn)As, considering the possible application in spintorics; b) the researchof nano-diamond structures grown by the CVD method on lithografically patterned substrates; c) the growth of homogeneous fields of quantum dots on lithografically patterned substrates and their investigation by GISAXS and GID methods. The investigated structures will be created by a newly installed electron beam lithography.

    Cílem projektu je: a) studium tunelové anizotropní magnetorezistance (TAMR) ve zředěných magnetických polovodičích typu (GaMn)As prostřednictvím vytváření orientovaných jednorozměrných kanálků ("nanoconstrictions"), a to s výhledem na vývoj součástek prospintroniku; b) výzkum nanodiamantových struktur, pěstovaných na litograficky upravených substrátech metodou CVD; c) vytváření homogenních polí kvantových teček na litograficky upravených podložkách a zkoumání jejich růstu metodami GISAXS a GID. Struktury použité při výzkumu budou vytvořeny nově instalovanou elektronovou litografií.
