Project results evaluation
The project aim was to use barley resources carrying a gene for the reduction of the lipoxygenase enzyme and to apply classical and molecular methods to create barley genotypes which meet the current and future requirements of the malting and brewing industries. The work on the project developed in keeping with the phases planned and individual objectives were fulfilled.
