Předkládaný projekt se zabývá adoptivní imunoterapií s využitím experimentální alogenní transplantace hematopoetických kmenových buněk. Zaměřuje se především na nalezení bezpečné biotechnologie přípravy štěpu alogenních buněk tak, aby byla maximálně potlačena jeho nežádoucí aloreaktivita způsobující klinicky často letální reakci štěpu proti hostiteli, a přitom, aby byla uchována a potencována jeho protinádorová reaktivita. Experimentální ověření takového postupu by mohlo znamenat převratný pokrok pro klinické využití alogenní transplantace nejenom v onkologii.

The project met its objectives. The results include patent applications for safer and effective hematopoietic stem cell transplantation with maximal potentiation of anti-cancer effect of donor lymphocytes and also registration of dendritic cell vaccination for cancer patients, the use of mesenchymal stem cells, and a detection system for T cell monitoring
