  • Annotation in Czech

International project of development and construction of new high performance material testing Jules Horowitz Reactor with heat rate 100MW designed for studying material and fuel behavior under irradiation with experimental capabilities relevant for different power reactor technologies and generations is directed by CEA (Commissariat ? l?Énergie Atomique) and enlisted in ESFRI. In 2005 Czech Republic, namely UJV-NRI Řež has received an invitation to participate in JHR Project. JHR Reactor will be located in research centre CADARACHE in France. Reaching the first activated state is scheduled for the end of 2013 and start of functioning for the beginning of 2014. The JHR Project is designed as a project of international cooperation in field of financing, construction and research work and will contribute to further development of safe nuclear energy and effective operation of existing and newly developed nuclear power stations. Therefore the participation of Czech Republic in development of Jules Horowitz Reactor is considered to be highly beneficial.
