Annotation in Czech
The program THINGS2DO is focused on building the Design & Development Ecosystem for FD-SOI-technology. This technology is uniquely positioned to take advantage of some very distinct strengths of the European Semiconductor Industry. The baseline 28nm FD-SOI-technology is available at an inflection point in the semiconductor progression path and offers unique features at this particular point in time. 14nm-FD-SOI will then take the technology’s integration potential to unprecedented levels, utilizing the design/development ecosystem developed here. The development groundwork needs to be created, in view to enable IC-products and electronic systems to be migrated into the FD-SOI environment and to take advantage of the new possibilities, which FD-SOI offers on the product- and systems-level. A new and game-changing technology such as FD-SOI can only be successful with a rich mix of product- and service-offerings in the development space

Project results evaluation
The project was focused on building the Design and Development Ecosystem for FD-SOI technology. The team developed and validated a lowpower applications, based on FD-SOI technology. The team complementated samples of integrated circuits about software drivers and participated on their testing and optimalization. The created solutions are the basis for the mass production of new integrated circuits.
