Research and develop a low cost integrated smart pixel control module enabling the flexible deployment of matrix-beam front-lighting applications. Compared to traditional LED front-lighting the matrix-beam applications have clear advantages towards comfort and overall safety but they require more complex and higher cost drivers. The focus is on the investigation of new driver concepts tailored to the PIXEL control module targeting a cost optimized implementation in our standard BCD process, meeting the OEM requirements. Develop an innovative system concept for an ultrasound sensor system using low cost sensors and standard BCD processes to bring the overall system cost down. Focus will be on optimizing our interface product as well as on lowering the total bill of materials (BOM) while maintaining the required overall system performance on sensitivity, accuracy, etc.
