Co-creating cultural narratives for sustainable rural development

O1: Develop a framework within which to investigate the role of cultural narratives in social-ecological systems. O2: Characterise the diversity and structure of cultural narratives in relation to European rural landscapes with different geographical specificities and socio-economic contexts and in response to drivers of change including land use, climate, demographic change and Covid-19. O3: Produce creative high-quality outputs - including film and other creative outputs - that illustrate the research outcomes both within and across case study regions. O4: Produce policy recommendations that inform the use and integration of cultural narratives and values in sustainable development planning.
