ReableDem in Practice: Reablement in Dementia Care Across Europe
Annotation in Czech
The ReableDEM-iP project aims to develop a robust foundation for the transnational adoption of reablement in dementia care in Europe. The project focuses on people living with moderate and moderately severe dementia (FAST 5–6a-c) and their care partners. It aims to: (1) explore beliefs and attitudes of diverse interest-holders regarding reablement in dementia care; (2) identify macro-level contextual factors influencing reablement adoption across countries; (3) develop, translate, culturally adapt and test outcome measures suitable for reablement in dementia care; (4) identify, adapt and implement best practices for capacity-building of health and social care professionals; and (5) design and evaluate international awareness campaigns to promote reablement and reduce dementia-related stigma.
