Implementation Research for Improving Stroke Care: Translation of Evidence to Patients Using Science (IRIS-TEPUS)
Annotation in Czech
Project aims to develop an implementation framework for stroke care quality measurement and test its effectiveness. The IRIS-TEPUS Project will further provide evidence on stroke care quality in East-European countries through the coordination of stroke care data collection and through the provision of a web-based Registry of Stroke Care Quality by the St. Anne’s University Hospital RES-Q Team. Within the IRIS-TEPUS Project the stroke care measurement and improvement strategies will be developed and tested. Registry-based pilot trials should be conducted in several countries as well.

Project results evaluation
The IRIS-TEPUS project contributed to the development of methodology for stroke care quality monitoring on both national and international levels. We have created a professional community, which works together on implementing stroke care quality monitoring into clinical practice. Thanks to data collection in a registry, hospitals get a feed-back on provided care, which enables improvement.
