Národní centrum lékařské genomiky - modernizace infrastruktury a výzkum genetické variability populace

Projekt navazuje na projekt Národního centra lékařské genomiky (NCLG), uvedený v Cestovní mapě České republiky velkých infrastruktur pro výzkum, experimentální vývoj a inovace 2016 -2020, kde proběhla podpora bez investičních prostředků. Projekt proto doplní potřebné přístrojové vybavení NCLG a vytvoří tím odpovídající zázemí pro kvalitní výzkum. Dále projekt ke stávajícímu výzkumu v NCLG přidá nový výzkum, při kterém bude vytvořena referenční databáze genetických variant České republiky. Projekt má dva cíle: 1) doplnit přístrojové vybavení NCLG a 2) shromažďovat dostupná genotypová data a vybudovat referenční databázi genetické variability české populace.

Project results evaluation

The goals of the project were met. The implementation of the project has significantly contributed to the education and upbringing of a new generation of researchers, computer specialists, bioinformatics, statisticians, instrumentation operators, clinical geneticists and physicians who ensure the transfer of genome research results and which will have practical clinical benefits for patients. Within the project, the research infrastructure was materially and technically modernized (through tenders) and the research was supported by using the research infrastructure, including its staffing (creation of a reference database of genetic variability of the Czech population).
