Project results evaluation
The goals of the project were met - the purchase of instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including support equipment. The aim of the project was to improve the educational infrastructures of FMT VŠB-TUO in order to ensure high quality teaching, especially in the newly accredited Ph.D. study programs SP1 Metallurgical Technology, SP2 Thermal Engineering and Fuels in Industry and SP3 Materials Science and Engineering and Increasing Students' Competences for Practice. The acquired infrastructure is linked to the active KA2 Modernization of study programs contained in the complementary project "FMT VŠB-TUO - Strategic Development of Doctoral Study Programs". As part of the implementation, a key infrastructure was acquired: 1-Defectoscopic inspection of defects, 2-3D DSC Calorimeter, 3-Device for measuring thermal conductivity at high temperatures, 4-Dilatometer, 5-Thermal imager with fast image capture , 6-SW for the study of casting and solidification of metal alloys (ProCAST).
