The aim of the project was to develop a system for lifetime monitoring of individual aircraft engines and entire aircraft, with the aim of extending the life cycle, functionality, safety and economic efficiency of operation. A key factor in achieving the objective was the development of new methods and procedures to evaluate the dynamic performance of the engine under instantaneous operating conditions and compare it with values obtained by simulation calculations on a model engine, including the design of measures for non-standard operating runs of a real engine. Furthermore, a suitable method and procedure for the collection and efficient evaluation of large data sets acquired during flight and with the prediction of fault signals was proposed. A secondary objective of the project was to develop an engine model that would meet the demanding performance requirements of new generation aircraft manufacturers. The project was successfully completed.
