VÚGTK Mobility
Project goals
The aim of the project is to share the foreign expert's experience with Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography (RIGTC) staff in the areas of research important for the further development of the Institute. The project is focused both on the incoming mobility of foreign researchers to the RIGTC and on the posting of technical staff to friendly foreign research institutes. Foreign experience, together with existing knowledge will contribute to achieving scientific results with higher quality and will also make it possible to extend existing research areas in the RIGTC to new and actual problems. This cooperation will also enable new contacts to be established with top-level workplaces abroad, where cooperation and sharing of experience can be further enhanced in the future.

Cílem projektu je sdílení zkušeností zahraničních expertů s pracovníky VÚGTK v oblastech výzkumu důležitých pro další rozvoj ústavu. Projekt je zaměřen jak na mobility výzkumných pracovníků ze zahraničí na pracoviště VÚGTK, tak na vyslání technických pracovníků na zahraniční stáže. Zahraniční zkušenosti spolu se stávajícími znalostmi díky komplementárnímu charakteru odborného zaměření přispějí k dosažení vědeckých výsledků s vyšší kvalitou a také umožní rozšířit stávající oblasti výzkumu v VÚGTK na nové a společensky aktuální problémy. Tato spolupráce rovněž umožní navázání nových kontaktů se špičkovými pracovišti v zahraničí, v rámci kterých bude moci být v budoucnu ještě více prohloubena spolupráce a sdílení zkušeností.

Project results evaluation
The project enabled the recipient to acquire new know-how and at the same time to spread awareness of the research institute in the world. The project further contributed to the professional development of researchers through the acquisition of new experience and practice abroad. During the project, three internships took place at universities and research institutes in Germany, Poland and Slovakia. The project also enabled the arrival of two researchers from abroad. The internships of both of these workers contributed to expanding the knowledge and overview of all RIGTC workers (seminars on foreign workplaces, informal sharing of information and experience, cooperation and project solutions). Personal contacts were established with the promise of further cooperation.
