Overheating in the High Arctic - qualitative anthropological analysis
Project goals
Mobility research will bring anthropological knowledge of local impacts of wider global processes in culture, concept of identity, economics, and the environment. The aim of the project is to collect comprehensive cultural and anthropological data about the studied community and to analyze and interpret them in connection with partial research questions. Part of field research is also an offer for the local population to participate in the interpretation of acquired data and, above all, to take part in the use of given knowledge for living in the site. It is so called "committed anthropology" that does not pretend to be absolutely objectivite and neutralit but, on the contrary, gives the space for the opinions of the studied person and enables their active participation.

Annotation in Czech
Výzkum prováděný během mobility přinese antropologické poznání lokálních dopadů širších globálních procesů patrných v kultuře, pojetí identity, ekonomice a životním prostředí.
