    Cílem projektu je realizace výzkumných záměrů dr. Koňaříkové a dr. Levčíka. Projekt dále posune výzkum v oddělení Neurofyziologie paměti a v oddělení Bioenergetiky, dojde k diseminaci znalostí a metod v rámci oddělení a vědeckých výsledků směrem k vědecké veřejnosti. V rámci projektu se počítá také s vydáním článku v režimu open access.

    Within the project, the research team of the institute was strengthened by two employees with rich experience from abroad. In addition to the implementation of their research projects, the staff members transferred their experience in the form of dissemination lectures and both of them are expected to be permanent members of the Department of Neurophysiology of Memory and Bioenergetics in the future. Research has focused on the role of the hippocampus in spatial information processing and mitochondrial ATP synthase, with the aim of expanding existing knowledge in this area and helping to understand the development of mitochondrial diseases.
