Project results evaluation
The project focused on international mobility of researchers, which included 2 arrivals to the Czech Republic and 1 departure from the Czech Republic. The main objective of the first mobility was to provide a comprehensive view of the complex molecular composition of tick saliva. The research set the stage for future research and potential applications in a variety of areas, from developing effective vector control strategies to exploring novel therapeutic approaches. The second mobility focused on understanding the evolution of parasitism in the Diplomonadida group. The third mobility was a trip to the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology (EAWAG). The main objective of the project was to test the role of symbiotic actinobacteria in defence symbiosis in aquatic and terrestrial millipedes. The results were presented at many international conferences and several scientific publications were published.
