    Řešení je postaveno na kombinaci počítačové simulace a experimentálního výzkumu v oblasti konstrukční mechaniky a biomechaniky. Cílem je přispět nejen ke zvyšování pasivní bezpečnosti vozidel, ale i ke komfortu cestujících, identifikovat trendy v legislativních procesech při schvalování vozidel do provozu a přispět k zapojení ČR v dané oblasti do řešení mezinárodních projektů 6. RP EU. Řešení bude navazovat na výsledky dosažené při předcházejícím projektu FB-C3/86.
