Research and application of time-frequency analysis in logopaedia, foreign language learning and learning speech of deaf pearson.
Project goals
Research of modern methods of speech signal analysis. These methods will be used to design an automatic detection system of wrong pronunciation that will be used in logopedy. The system supplemented with multimedia programs, which wil substitute lector instructions at trainings, will make pronunciation trainings simpler and improve the training of deaf peoples speaking.

Project results evaluation
The experimental application based on classification using Gaussian mixture models was implemented to detect incorrect pronunciation in speech. During testing on the recordings from speech therapy clinic the success rate of detection ranged around 80%.
