The study of preparation, properties, structure and reactivity of organometallic C,Y- and Y,C,Y- complexes
Project goals
The project deals with the study of preparation, chemical and physical properties, structure and reactivity of four sets of organotin(IV), organoaluminium and organolithium N,C- and O,C-chelate complexes with 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl and 3-methoxypropyl ligands and N,C,N- and O,C,O-bischelate complexes with 2,6-bis(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl and 2,6-bis(alkoxymethyl)phenyl ligands (alkoxy = methoxy, isopropoxy, tert.-butoxy). Organotin(IV) complexes will be tested on cancerostatic, antifugal and trypanocidal activities.
