Úkolem projektu je identifikace proteomu Streptomyces coelicolor a propojení výsledných dat s existující databází kinetiky změn proteomu během vývoje kultury. Cílem je vytvoření komplexní vývojové databáze proteomu, vytvoření WWW databázového serveru a propojení databáze s ostatními odpovídajícími datovými zdroji přístupnými na internetu. Základními metodami budou preparativní 2D elektroforéza a identifikace proteinových skvrh pomocí hmotové spektroskopie.

Developmental proteome of S. coelicolor cultivated in liquid minimal medium and during germination has been characterized. The T-phase of growth associated with antibiotic production has been characterized. A proteomic www server has been established.
