    Cílem projektu je využití souboru chromozomálních substitučních kmenů jako modelových organismů pro studium dědičnosti exprese genů v různých tkáních v normálních a pathologických stavech, se zvláštním zaměřením na studium genů kontrolujících samčí neplodnost. Tento cíl pak realizovat ve spolupráci s evropskými pracovišti v rámci projektu SYSGENET a zajistit tak jeho integraci v rámci evropských genetických referenčních populací.

    Project enabled involvement of the laboratory in the program of European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) SYSGENET, focused on complex gene interactions using as a model mouse reference populations. The Prague laboratory contributed with a panel of chromosome substitution strains.
