    Hlavním cílem projektu je tedy přinést nové metodické postupy pro výzkum interakce ROS a využít tyto postupy k výzkumu interakce membránových proteinů, které sehrávají významnou úlohu v procesu regulace energetického metabolismu (UCP1), transportu iontů(Na/K ATPasa a KtrAB) a buněčném dělení a virulenci bakterií (FTT 1103).

    During time period 2014-2016, isolation and purification protocols for cytochrome c and its apoform/porphyrine-form, protein FTT1103, Na/K ATPase, UCP1 protein and SERCA were developed and optimized. The proteins were studied using electrochemical methods and, protocol for measurement of protein glycation was published. EPR analyses of protein redox status were realized via COST EU-ROS (BMBS - Biomedicine and Molecular Biosciences - BM1203) action. Finally, we prepared proteoliposomes using Na/K ATPase for consecutive redox properties evaluation.
