    Chemoprotektivní a biologické aktivity nových dehydro-derivátů flavonolignanů silymarinu.

    Bude vypracována preparativní metoda k získání multigramových množství opticky čistých výchozích látek silychristinu a silydianinu. Budou vypracovány metody šetrné oxidace silychristinu a silydianinu s využitím chemických a chemoenzymatických metod (např. oxidasy a laccasy) vedoucí k dosud nepopsaným látkám 2,3-dehydrosilychristinu a 2,3-dehydrosilydianinu v opticky čistém stavu. Budou též připraveny nové deriváty těchto sloučenin. U těchto nových látek budou především testovány antioxidační, protiradikálové a redoxní účinky a dále schopnosti komplexace přechodných kovů účastnících se Fentonovy reakce, která vede k oxidačnímu stresu. Ve spolupráci s členy projektu COST budou vybrané nové látky testovány v biologických systémech (in vitro a ex vivo) promožnosti antioxidační ochrany proteinů, případně dalších biomakromolekul.

    "We have developed a method for the preparation of dehydroderivatives of silychristin and silydianin based on the oxidation in pyridine. New compounds were characterized from the point of antioxidant, antiradical and electrochemical activities. We developed an enzymatic method for sulfated metabolites synthesis, which will be used for silychristin metabolite preparation. "
