    Supramolekulární antioxidanty chránící proteiny před oxidativním poškozením.

    Budou vypracovány metody šetrné dimerizace látek s antioxidačními účinky s využitím chemoenzymatických metod (např. lipasy). Pomocí těchto metod budou připraveny homo- a heterodimery na bázi flavonolignanů silybinu, dehydrosilybinu a jeho kongenerů v kombinaci s dalšími bioaktivními antioxidanty jako deriváty tokoferolu, kyseliny askorbové, retinolu a tyrosolu. U těchto nových supramolekulárních antioxidantů budou především testovány antioxidační, protiradikálové a redoxní účinky a dále schopnosti komplexace přechodných kovů účastnících se Fentonovy reakce, která vede k oxidativnímu stresu. Ve spolupráci s členy projektu COST budou vybrané nové látky testovány v biologických systémech (in vitro a ex bio) pro možnosti antioxidační ochrany proteinů a případně daších biomakromolekul.
