    Využití koncepce biorafinerie k valorizaci odpadní biomasy dřevozpracujícího průmyslu

    Cílem projektu je prostudovat možné způsoby valorizace lignocelulózových pevných odpadních materiálů (především pilin a odřezků) vznikající při zpracování dřeva. Jednak bude prozkoumána hydrolýza lignocelulózových materiálů a následné odstranění mikrobiálních inhibitorů z hydrolyzátu (detoxifikace). Následně budou hydrolyzáty lignocelulózových materiálů využity jako substrát pro biotechnologickou přípravu karotenoidů, polyhydroxyalkanoátů, mikrobiálních lipidů a významných mikrobiálních extracelulárních polymerů – polysacharidu pulllanu, polyesteru kyeliny jablečné a polyamidu kyseliny glutamové.

    The hydrolysis and utilization of waste wood biomass was studied within project LD15031. According to the results of the project, the raw materials can be converted to carotenoids, polyhydroxyalkanoates, microbial lipids and a range of extracellular polymers employing approaches of microbial biotechnology. The results of the project will be published in scientific journals.
