The realization of the project Udržitelnost a excelence centra akvakultury a biodiverzity hydrocenóz (Sustainability and Excellence of the Research Center of Aquaculture and Biodiversity of Hydrocenoses), which global aim was the increase of competitiveness of the Czech research in Fishery and Water protection, was finished on the 31. 12. 2018. It´s global aim was fulfilled through research activities focused on increase of knowledge in the field of freshwater aquaculture and water protection, improving water quality and protection of aquatic environment, biodiversity conservation and progress in development of sustainable freshwater aquaculture, in order to supply quality food.
