    Research of the InterBioMed centre LO 1302 NPU I was focused on viral, bacterial, and tumor diseases, and development of novel types of medications. It was carried out in collaboration with national and international research institutions and companies. 52 FTE research and technical workers and national and international students, including 30 new student positions, were supported from this project. The research results were published in more than 100 publications in a number of prestigious journals. In addition, 58 results were solely obtained by InterBioMed members. Our results are also part of 9 international and 2 national awarded patents. This project enabled a stable financing of our reseach and contributed to development of new molecular approaches for study of different diseases and their treatment.
