    Towards an International Network for Evidence-based Research in Clinical Health Research in the Czech Republic

    New clinical studies should be supported by systematic reviews (SRs) - studies with the most appropriate/detailed/elaborated design and methodology - and the of such studies should be created based on continuous systematic assessment of already existing research. EVBRES (EVidence-Based RESearch) will establish an international European network to raise awareness of the need to use SRs in planning new studies and in putting new results into context of existing research.

    The issue related to the COVID-19 pandemic was defined as the dominant topic in the EBR area, but also the methodology of practice guidelines implementing the EBR approach. We published a total of 45 studies. Of these 45 studies: 2 in the first decile, 13 in the first quartile, 17 in the second quartile, 3 in the third quartile and 9 in the fourth quartile in the WoS database. Thirty-six of these publications were created in collaboration with foreign authors.
