Daya Bay Experiment
Project goals
Through the cooperation project, we expect to have a better understanding of the cosmogenic backgrounds in the experiment, which will improve the precision and reliability of the theta13 measurement. The cooperation will concentrate on the simulation ofmuon interaction with environmental and detector material, such as rock, water, iron, liquid scintillator, and plastic scintillator, the measurement and analysis of muon data at the experimental sites, and possibly the veto detector R&D study.
