  • Project results evaluation

This project was designed to study effects of medically important bacterial strains. The results point to some new molecular mechanisms of therapeutic function of non-pathogenic bacteria at the appearance, prevention and therapy of intestinal inflammation. This was shown by elucidation of signal cascades of production and activation of pro-inflammatory cytokines.
