Quantifying non-classicality in quantum walks and quantum optical networks

Project goals

The aim of the project is the quantification of nonclassical behavior of quantum walks and their realization using optical networks. The second aim is the extension of the Polya number concept and studies of experimental feasibility.

    We demonstrated the existence of chaotic behavior in purification protocols of quantum information theory. The result hints at an intriguing link between quantum dynamics and classical chaos theory. The result is useful for the design of new purificationprotocols.
