The results provide a detailed view of the demands for rehabilitation during a pandemic situation and reveal a number of specific problems, the solution of which can help to manage a similar pandemic in the future. They determine the factors for increasing the number of physiotherapists in rehabilitation care for patient and determine the risk factors for long-term rehabilitation care. The outputs also focus on patients with long COVID syndrome. The results are beneficial for the management of the rehabilitation department, but also for the top management of hospitals and physicians of other departments who prescribe rehabilitation treatment to patients. The scope of the project is therefore broadly interdisciplinary and requires the coordination of interdisciplinary care in different hospital departments. The conclusions of the project will be implemented in the teaching of students in the fields of Physiotherapy and General Medicine. The objectives of the project have been met.
