The necessary struktural changes in the Czech potato sector in connection with EU accession.
Project goals
The project will solve the impact of EU accession on the Czech potato sector. The first point is the description of the present situation of the Czech enviroment. After analysis will be proposed the preventative arrangement for improvement of competitiveness of the Czech potato sector in the foreign trade, especially in the Europe Union countries. The measures will be particulary focused on intensity of potatoes production, calculation of consumption and production of the early, ware (late variety of potatoes) and industrial potatoes. The important point is the determination the quantity of potatoes production (in tonnes) in the Czech agricultural market, possibility of the protection internal Czech market. Another important problem is bilance of foreign agricultural trade of potatoes. The result of research project will be introduced in form of recommendation of the special parameters as the customs quotas and taxis for commodity potatoes especially in accordance with EU regulation.

Nezbytné strukturální změny v českém bramborářství s ohledem na vstup do EU

Vzhledem k předpokládanému vstupu ČR do EU jsou nezbytné strukturální změny v českém bramborářství. Na základě provedení analýzy současného stavu budou navržena preventivní opatření na zvýšení jeho konkurenceschopnosti vůči zemím EU. Tato opatření se budou týkat zejména zvýšení intenzity výroby brambor, kalkulace potřeby a produkce brambor jednotlivých užitkových směrů a stanovení množství produkce brambor potřebné na trhu ČR. Důležité bude také stanovení možnosti ochrany vnitřního trhu a posouzení bilance agrárního zahraničního obchodu s bramborami. Dále bude předložen návrh na harmonizaci kvalitativních parametrů, celních kvót a sazeb u komodity brambory, navazujícící na současnou legislativu EU.
