Project results evaluation
The project aim was to verify the M. paratuberculosis sources and to demonstrate its presence and survival in soil, fertilizers, plants, milk and dairy products as well as in the biofilm present in dairy operations. The existing cultivation methods and the PCR and RFLP methods were used to attain this project objective and new procedures were developed. The outputs anticipated were fulfilled.
