Vláknocementové kompozity mohou pro své mechanické vlastnosti, jako je zvýšená duktilita, schopnost pohlcovat výbuchovou vlnu a zvýšená požární odolnost najít uplatnění v prostředcích zvyšujících odolnost staveb občanské a dopravní infrastruktury proti zatížení způsobenému výbuchem, nárazem a požárem v důsledku teroristického útoku či nehody. Projekt si klade za cíl na základě experimentálního programu a numerického modelování navrhnout způsoby ochrany staveb občanské a dopravní infrastruktury.
