Cumulative rain intensity distributions were obtained by the processing of rain records from 5 siphon raingauges located in the different parts of the Czech Republic. Two raingauges were located in the west part of the Czech Republic near the border withGermany, the further two raingauges were located in Prague and the fifth one was situated about 43 km far from Prague in the NNE direction. The cumulative rain intensity distributions obtained from these siphon raingauges are compared with the calculatedones according to Rec. ITU-R P.837-1 as well as P.837-2 and the differences are discussed.
