Spectral decomposition makes it possible to separate the propeller noise components from the overall noise of the propeller driven aircraft. In this way it is possible to increase, but also to speed up the diagnostic analysis of the noise of propeller driven aircraft. Shown is an example of the of spectral decomposition application on the analysis of the interior noise of the ATR 72 aircraft.

Spektrální dekompozice umožňuje separovat vrtulové hlukové složky z celkového hluku vrtulového letadla. Separaci vrtulových složek lze výrazně zpřesnit ale také zrychlit diagnostickou analýzu hluku vrtulových letadel. Uveden je příklad aplikace spektrální dekompozice při analýze vnitřního hluku letadla ATR 72
