Modelling of influence of secondary flow on integral parameters of straight blade cascade
Original language description
This paper deals with the modelling of the flow through a stright blade cascade. The straight blade cascade is a simplified physical model of an axial blade wheel. Flow in the straight blade cascade is supposed as two-dimensional and periodic. In an experimental investigation, the secondary flow structures are generated due to the limitation of the wind-tunnel test section. It means that the assumption of two-dimensional flow is more or less broken in the experimental investigation. In this paper an efficient method of modelling of the secondary flow through the straight blade cascade is described. This method is applied to calculation of the flow through the real turbine blade cascade. Results are compared with the experimental data.
