    Advanced evaluation method for fatigue properties of original and innovated metal aircraft principal structure elements

  • Original language description

    This paper describes a verification method for the fatigue characteristics of a newly-designed structural part of aircraft, which has been partially optimised using a crack propagation analysis of critical points, which were identified in the original construction, and an analogous crack propagation analysis of the innovated part of the structure. The verification of the optimisation of the structural design, with respect to extending the fatigue life, and the computational analysis were performed usingunconventional experiment that was conducted by simulation of crack propagation at critical points.
